Winning Charity Receives $10,400

The winning charity, receiving a whopping $10,400 was the Prince County Hospital Auxiliary! Congratulations to Auxiliary president, Susan Cameron for a great presentation.

The competition was intense with wonderful presentations from the Island Pregnancy Support Centre and the Cat Action Team. A second vote was needed to break a tie.

Presenting Charities Chosen for March 10 Meeting

The excitement is mounting! By random draw, we have chosen the three local charities to present at the March 10 meeting. One of the three will go home with $10,300 to support work for this community.

New members are welcome – the more members we have the more good work we can support.

Mark your calendars for the next meeting of 100 Women Who Care -Prince County PE to be held at The Oval at Credit Union Place in Summerside. The doors open at 5:00 pm for social time;the meeting starts promptly at 5:30 pm and will be over no later than 6:30 pm.

All members are encouraged to nominate a charity by March 01. Three charities will be randomly drawn to present at the meeting, and one winner will receive $10,300. Members – check your email inbox for details.
